PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic equipment system capable of attaining electric supply utilizing the battery characteristics of secondary batteries when using a plurality of secondary batteries with different battery characteristics as a power source, and a battery pack used for the electronic equipment system. SOLUTION: The electronic equipment system includes electronic equipment 2 and battery packs 1a, 1b, 1c. The battery packs 1a, 1b, 1c respectively incorporate packed batteries 14a, 14b, 14c comprising secondary batteries with different battery characteristics. The control section 31 of the electronic equipment 2 detects the battery characteristics of the secondary battery constituting the packed batteries 14a, 14b, 14c and the service state of the electronic equipment 2, and selects a battery packing incorporating the packed battery comprising the secondary battery suitable for the service state of the electronic equipment 2 from the battery packs 14a, 14b, 14c, and requests supply of power from the selected battery pack.
