PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit multiple data such as 3D image data with strong packet loss resistance and low delay.

SOLUTION: A communication system 100 of the invention comprises: a transmitter 200; and a receiver 300. The transmitter 200 includes: a 3D processing unit 202 to wich multiple image data constituting stereoscopic images are input; and an FEC coding unit 208 for composing multiple image data to the same coding matrix and adding an error correction code to it. The receiver 300 includes: a receiving unit 302 for receiving reception data comprised of multiple image data constituting stereoscopic images; and an FEC decoding unit 304 for decoding, by means of the error correction code, reception data in which multiple image data is composed to the same coding matrix and to which the error correction code is added.
