PURPOSE: A gas lifter for vehicles is provided to increase power of a packing which holds a piston rod by a bimetal ring. CONSTITUTION: A gas lifter for vehicles comprises a cylinder(10) and a piston rod(11). A packing(50) is installed inside the cylinder. One end of the piston rod is mounted inside the cylinder to be movable forward and backward. The piston rod enters through an inlet of the cylinder by the pressure of gas(20) in the cylinder. The bimetal ring(52) is installed inside the packing, and the inner side of the packing is shrunk by the bimetal ring so frictional force between the packing and the piston rod increases. |
