<p>An electric component contains an electric conductor, wherein inside the electric conductor a current path having a current flow direction is specified because of the ends of the electric conductor being connected to two electric connection points inside the electric component. By using a mixture made of carbon nanostructures having a preferred orientation with respect to the electric conductivity along the current flow direction, and a mixture made of nanostructures having a preferred orientation with respect to the thermal conductivity on at least one of the outside surfaces of the electric component, the electric component, in particular a transformer coil, can be produced in a more compact fashion, wherein at the same time sufficient thermal conductivity of the electric component is ensured. A method for producing the electric component having such a conductor is also disclosed.</p> |
