<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a national language display system for a field instrument capable of switching to a new support language without consuming memory resources in proportion to the number of national languages and without affecting a process control application which is already operating if the number of national languages that can be displayed has increased. <P>SOLUTION: A national language display system for field instrument comprises: a field instrument having a plurality of national language data items to be displayed on a display; and a first client instrument communicating with the field instrument via a field bus.
