<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent ignition inside a mill. <P>SOLUTION: The concentrations of carbon monoxide and oxygen in a gas at an outlet of the mill 5 are respectively measured. The amount of another gas, which is supplied to the mill 5 and has the oxygen partial pressure lower than that in air, is adjusted on the basis of the result of measured concentration of carbon monoxide and the oxygen partial pressure calculated by using the measured concentration of oxygen so as to change the partial pressure of oxygen in a gaseous mixture to be supplied to the mill 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
