<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding wire with which an arc is stabilized and the generation of spatter is suppressed even when Ca content is increased. <P>SOLUTION: As a welding solid wire containing Ca of a high quantity, the wire of a low carbon steel which contains specified quantitities of one or two kinds of Nb and Al and/or Cu on the basis of the relationship between the Ca content is employed. By this means, a Ca oxide which is apt to be the starting point of the spattering is turned into a composite oxide containing Nb and Al, so that even when the Ca content of the welding wire is increased, the generation of the spatter is suppressed and the weldability of gas-shielded arc welding is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
