<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air blower and an air purifier containing the air blower, for blowing air from an air outlet more uniformly at high speed, and blowing generated ions efficiently far in a room. <P>SOLUTION: A first air passage 13A contains a nearly cylindrical circumferential surface section 131 having an opening 131A along the outer circumference of a sirocco fan 12. A second air passage 13B contains: a first side-face section 133 that extends from one side of the opening 131A of the circumferential surface section 131 in the circumferential direction to a direction that is substantially tangential to the sirocco fan 12, and that is connected to a part of the air outlet 7; and a second side-face section 134 that faces the first side-face section 133, that extends from the other side of the opening 131A of the circumferential surface section 131 in the circumferential direction to the air outlet 7, and that is connected to the other part of the air outlet 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
