<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle information terminal for providing information to a user at an optimum timing, regardless of a situation of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A navigation device repetitively performs each one of steps to acquire announcement information to be issued to a driver of a self vehicle (step S10); to determine a degree of urgency in the announcement information (step S20); and to determine a driving load of a driver (step S60). Consequently, till it is determined that the degree of urgency in the announcement information is high in the step S20 or that the driving load of the driver is low in the step S60, processing of steps S20-S70 is repetitively performed so as to delay an announcement timing.
