<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform more appropriate color shift correction by obtaining an appropriate color shift amount when correcting a color shift by chromatic aberration of magnification by image processing. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided an edge extraction part for extracting an edge part from image data including color signals of a plurality of colors; a high region component extracting part for extracting a high region component in a transverse direction of the edge part for each color signal of a first color signal and a second color signal among the color signals of the plurality of colors; a shift amount obtaining part for obtaining an amount of positional shift of the first color signal and the second color signal based on positions in a screen of the image data in which the high region component of the first color signal and the second color signal show the maximum value and the minimum value; and a correction part for correcting the positional shift of the first color signal and the second color signal by moving at least either one of the first color signal or the second color signal in the screen of the image data based on the amount of the positional shift obtained by the shift amount obtaining part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
