<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small animal rearing apparatus capable of ventilating a cage by a simple structure without requiring frequent replenishment of a water supply device with water because the capacity of the water supply device is small. <P>SOLUTION: The small animal rearing apparatus includes the cage 2 disposed within a small animal rearing rack, and a ventilation device 6 for ventilating the cage 2. The cage 2 includes a casing 20 whose upper surface is open and a lid 22 which covers the opening on the upper surface of the casing 20. The water supply device 8 and a feeding device are disposed in the lid 22. An air outlet 12 and an air inlet 11 are disposed in the lid 22, and a shielding plate 14 is suspended from the lower surface of the lid 22 between the air outlet 12 and the air inlet 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
