<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display easily a map around a via place set in a route guidance. <P>SOLUTION: A control part switches a map in the route guidance to a map including the specified via place to display the same (S23). As when a current vehicle position is included in the map after switching, when the current vehicle position and the via place are comparatively close on a map screen, and when map data is already stored in an image memory, a map switching including the specified via place is performed as automatic scroll from the current vehicle position to the specified via place. And as when the current vehicle position is not included in the map after switching, when the current vehicle position and the via place are comparatively far on the map screen, and when map data around the specified via place needs to be read newly in the image memory, the map switching is performed as a screen switching (jump) at a point of time when reading the map data into the image memory is completed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
