<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable simple and easy setting of a subject and to provide a safe radiation tomograph. <P>SOLUTION: This radiation tomograph for a head part includes a headrest 8a which holds the front head part of the subject M, according to the constitution of an embodiment 1. Since a head examination can be performed thereby even when the subject M is not made to lie on the back, the subject M is set with ease. Besides, positioning of the head part of the subject M is completed only by making the subject M sit on a chair 10 and bringing the front head part into contact with the headrest 8a, the radiation tomograph for the head part which prevents the subject M from interfering with a gantry 11 and has high safety can be provided.
