<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direction detection device which costs low and detects a traveling direction of a detection object relative to two axes. <P>SOLUTION: A direction detection device 100 is provided with a light emitting part 105D which outputs a detection signal for detecting a detection object 106; light receiving parts 105A-105C each of which outputs different output A-C respectively when it receives an after-reflection detection signal which is a detection signal reflected by the detection object 106; a logical AND circuit 102 which generates a determination signal D by obtaining a logical AND of determination signals A-C; and a determination unit 103 which detects a traveling direction of the detection object 106 relative to two axes, the X-axis and the Y-axis, on the basis of the determination signals A-D. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
