PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power unit of an inkjet head for preventing an unauthorized operation of an inkjet head at the start and end of power input with a simple circuit configuration without any control units.SOLUTION: The power unit outputs a discharge drive voltage of ink and a control voltage lower than the drive voltage and controlling ink discharge to the inkjet head. The power unit includes a voltage conversion unit for converting the drive voltage to the control voltage for output, a constant voltage diode where a cathode is connected to an input power supply side, a resistor connected in series to the constant voltage diode, a capacitor connected to an anode side of the constant voltage diode to the constant voltage diode and the resistor, a switch for switching the presence or absence of an output of the drive voltage, and a voltage comparison unit for turning on the switch when a voltage of the capacitor is not less than a prescribed reference voltage. |
