The device (1) has trimming elements (2) and a water recuperation element (3) that are arranged and retained with respect to each other around a rain water gutter (4), which is arranged for receiving the water recuperation element. Each trimming element is constituted of a hollow cylindrical sleeve (5). The sleeve is formed with an opening (50) with width lower than outside diameter of the sleeve in order to place around the rainwater gutter. An opening angle of the opening is 100 and 120 degrees.
