PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively and securely deposit and permeate charged fine particle water to and through clothing.SOLUTION: A washing and drying machine includes: an outer tub 3 suspended inside a case 1; an inner tub 4 rotatably supported in the outer tub 3; a pulsator 6 arranged on an inner bottom part of the inner tub 4; a driving means 8 for diving the inner tub 4 or the pulsator 6; an upper frame 48 mounted to an upper part of the case 1; a blowing means 65 for supplying air into the inner tub 4; an electrostatic mist generating unit 53 having an electrostatic mist generator 55 for generating the charged fine particle water by electrostatic atomization; and a control means 33 for sequentially controlling a series of processes of washing, rinsing, dehydrating and drying and a disinfecting and deodorizing process. In the disinfecting and deodorizing process, the control means 33 alternatively performs tub rotating operation for simultaneously rotating the inner tub 4 and the pulsator 6 and operation for rotating the pulsator 6 right and left for a short time. Thereby, the charged fine particle water is effectively deposited and permeated to and through the clothing for disinfecting and deodorizing. |
