PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide flow meter electronics that can accommodate a legacy system and a new electrical flow meter. SOLUTION: The flow meter electronics 302 for providing a flow rate of material flowing through a flow meter sensor 10 of a Coriolis flow meter includes a processing system 304, and a single output port 306. The processing system 304 receives pick-off signals from the flow meter sensor 10 and determines the flow rate of the material. The processing system 304 processes the flow rate according to an instruction, generates a frequency output signal or a digital communication protocol signal and transmits it via a single output port 306.
