PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bush cutter which does not overload, does not lower workability and reduces the fatigue degree of a worker, even when a cutter cord is used in the cutting blade portion of the bush cutter on a cutting work, and even when the density of grasses is enhanced, and hardly causes a kickback in a cutting work, and enables a stable cutting work, when a metal rotary blade is used in the cutting blade portion. SOLUTION: The bush cutter is characterized in that a subframe 11 is disposed; one end and the other end of the subframe 11 are bound to a cutting device or the front portion of an outer pipe 3 and to an operation handle 4, respectively; the shape of the subframe 11 is, on the side view, forward extended from the cutting device or from the front portion of the outer pipe 3, forms a circular shape or an angle at a position close to the tip end portion of the cutting blade, backward extended on the right side of the outer frame and then bound to the operation handle 4, and the subframe 11 is, on the side view, curved, forward projected in parallel to the rotation side face of the cutting blade 1 and then upward at an angle of 45 degree, extended in approximately parallel to or overlapped on the outer pipe 11, and then extended to the operation handle 4.
