摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit device, capable of reducing an area of a circuit required for linearizing a gain characteristic of an output signal of an amplifier for an input signal, and to provide a transmission and reception system. SOLUTION: The semiconductor integrated circuit device includes a linearization circuit having a plurality of first switchable gain characteristics, generating an intermediate signal by switching the first gain characteristics for the input signal, and for output of an intermediate signal to the circuit having a second gain characteristic. The linearization circuit has at least one first rectifying element, a linearization unit for linearizing the input signal, a plurality of second rectifying elements having an inversed polarity to the first rectifying element, a first switcher for selecting at least one of the plurality of second rectifying elements based on a control signal, and a linearization restraining unit connected to the linearization unit in parallel and restraining the linearization of the input signal by the linearization unit.
