PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid developing device capable of suppressing a change in an amount by which a liquid developer is regulated and adverse effect on image quality by efficiently removing soil, particularly, on a portion where the liquid developer is liable to remain, in a liquid developing system in which a latent image formed on an image carrier is developed using the liquid developer in which toner is dispersed in carrier liquid. SOLUTION: The liquid developing container is provided with a cleaning solution supply-supplying member for jetting a cleaning solution toward a contact portion between a regulation blade and a supply roller with a prescribed timing during a non-development operation in order to clean the remaining liquid developer.
