<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector in which the accumulated lighting time is reset only when exchanged into a new lamp unit, to provide an accumulated lighting time management system for projector, and to provide a control method of the projector and its control program. <P>SOLUTION: The projector 1 modulates and projects light emitted from a lamp 11 of a detachable lamp unit 10 according to an image signal. The projector has an accumulated lighting time memory 23 which memorizes the accumulated lighting time of the lamp 11, and a control unit 20 which receives a reset code for resetting the accumulated lighting time. The control unit 20 resets the accumulated lighting time when the input reset code is one that is issued at first time based on an information unique to the lamp unit scheduled for exchange and an information showing the projector scheduling exchange of the lamp unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
