PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a sheet showing a little increase of a volume when fresh fish or the like is wrapped with the sheet, moderately absorbing a drip generated after freezing and thawing the fresh fish or the like but does not cause a decrease of taste due to too much absorption of the drips even after freezing the same for a long period of time, in such a form that the sheet can be cut with a pair of scissors for use. SOLUTION: The drip absorbing sheet is formed of a non-woven fabric which contains a pulp fiber having an average fiber length of less than 20 mm, a hydrophobic thermoplastic resin fiber having an average fiber length of not less than 30 mm and a hydrophilic fiber having an average fiber length of not less than 20 mm, and has a thickness of not more than 0.5 mm wherein the amount of desorbed water returned is 10 to 100 g/m<SP>2</SP>.
