<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanning device capable of suppressing uneven thermal deformation of a housing without increasing the dimension of the housing, and also to provide an image forming apparatus comprising the optical scanning device. <P>SOLUTION: An optical scanning device 6 includes: a housing 40 having a wall; a laser light source 25 outputting a laser light; a polygon mirror 28 arranged in an arrangement space S defined by an inner wall surface in part of the wall, and deflecting the laser light to scan a predetermined object with the laser light while rotating; a polygon motor 29 rotating the polygon mirror 28; a control board 33 arranged in the arrangement space S and controlling the polygon motor 29; and a flow-control member 50 arranged in the arrangement space S and guiding an airflow generated by a rotation of the polygon mirror 28 to an outside of the arrangement space S to circulate the airflow within the housing 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
