<p>A bookmark and stand ( 10), comprising first and second flaps (20 and 120) and a bridge assembly (60). Each of first and second flaps (20 and 120) comprises a wall section (22 and 122), a base section (48 and 148), and a hook section (44 and 144). The bridge assembly (60) connects to rear edges (24 and 124) and comprises a top edge (62), a bottom edge (64), and a bridge (66). The first and second flaps (20 and 120) have a sheet configuration and are made of a substantially rigid material to support a book (200) when in a bookstand configuration, and also may lay flat within the book (200) when in a bookmark configuration, whereby the first and second flaps (20 and 120) and the bridge assembly (60) conform to a shape of the book (200) and are thin enough so as to not damage the book (200).</p> |
