A device for emanating a liquid wherein the device is for use with a refill 2 of liquid, the device comprising a housing with at least one exit port and a hollow elongate extraction limb having at least one capillary tube 12 therein, wherein the at least one capillary tube 12 is open at one end to extract liquid from the refill and open at the other end to deposit the liquid on the at least one wick 14 which is provided on an outer surface of the refill housing. The device is ideally used with a refill comprising a housing 2 containing at least one reservoir 3 for holding the liquid, at least one aperture 5, 6 in the housing sealed by sealing means 7, 8 and a wick 14 provided on or connected upon the outer surface of the housing. The extraction limb ideally comprises a single capillary tube wherein an end of the capillary tube is bent at angle 180° so that it is located over the wick. The device may further comprise a heater (15; fig 15). The device may form part of a system which includes a refill. |
