摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for realizing a transmitter in which an EER system and an LINC system are combined, and which is excellent in power efficiency and linearity while suppressing a circuit scale at a low cost. SOLUTION: The transmitter to be used is equipped with: a signal converter for converting input signals to phase signals and amplitude signals; an amplitude limiter for turning an amplitude value to a prescribed value when the amplitude value of the amplitude signals is larger than the prescribed value; a phase modulator for phase modulating the addition signals and subtraction signals of the phase signals and phase difference signals; an up-converter for converting the output of the phase modulator to a high frequency and generating first and second phase modulation signals; a divider for dividing the amplitude signals by the amplitude signals after the amplitude is limited; an amplitude amplifier for amplifying the output of the divider; first and second power amplifiers for amplifying the first and the second phase modulation signals according to the output of the amplitude amplifier, respectively; an adder for synthesizing the output from the first and the second power amplifiers; and an antenna for transmitting the output from the adder.
