PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability of a compressor, in which a separation chamber for separating a lubricating oil from a compressed high-pressure gas refrigerant is provided on the discharge side of a compression mechanism and the oil circulation rate is reduced, by securing a thrust clearance. SOLUTION: A recess 24 is provided on a rear side plate 7 at a position corresponding to a partition wall 18 of a high-pressure case 14 that partitions a high-pressure chamber 15 and an oil storage chamber 17 and sealed, so that the thrust clearance between a rotor 2 and a front side plate 6 and a rear side plate 7 expands moderately at the high-speed high-load operation, resulting in improvement of the durability of the compressor.
