DRIVING CIRCUIT FOR LOW POWER CONTENTS ADDRESSABLE MEMORY

PURPOSE: An address memory driving circuit with low power is provided to reduce power consumption in a search line by operating the search line of a CAM(Content Addressable Memory). CONSTITUTION: N NOR cells(520-1 to520-N) are connected in parallel to a match line and store data. A current supply unit(510) supplies a bias current to the N NOR cells. A switching unit supplies power voltage to the match line according to a match line enable signal. A sense amplifier unit(530) senses the data of the match line by the match line enable signal and outputs the sensed data. A current supply unit supplies a bias current which is M times more than a reference current.
