POLYKETONE BLEND AND METHOD FOR PREPARING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A polyketone blend is provided to improve impact strength at room temperature and low temperature, to prevent excessive strength loss, and to enable use in the manufacture of container for food and parts for automobile industry. CONSTITUTION: A polyketone blend comprises a linear alternating polyketone polymer including carbon monoxide and at least one ethylenic unsaturated hydrocarbon, and ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber, and selectively acidic polymer. The polyketone blend includes 5-20 weight% of a ethylene-propylene-diene monomer rubber based on the weight of the whole blend. The acidic polymer is a copolymer consisting of an α-olefin monomer and an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer.
