Disclosed are compounds of general formulae (I) and (II) wherein R is phenyl optionally substituted with one or more halo substituents, and R1 is as defined in the specification; their pharmaceutically acceptable salts, hydrates, solvates, complexes or prodrugs, and processes for their preparation. The compounds are useful in orally administrable compositions for the treatment of allergic diseases such as asthma, allergic rhinitis and atopic dermatitis.
