The injection valve has a valve opening, a coaxially arranged and axially movably guided valve needle (12) and an electromagnet for lifting actuation of the valve needle. The electromagnet has an inner magnetic core, a magnetic coil and a magnetic armature (21) axially facing the magnetic core. The valve needle is formed of a plastic material and comprises a metallic material in a subarea for lifting actuation. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an injection valve.
