PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL element using a compound having a high triplet level as an organic EL element, especially, an EL element using phosphorescent material. SOLUTION: An amine derivative, which has a partial skeleton represented by general formula (1), is used. (In the formula, a curve represents an aliphatic hydrocarbon group which may have a heteroatom other than a nitrogen atom, and constitutes a cyclic structure with the nitrogen atom. Ar<SB>1</SB>and Ar<SB>2</SB>are each independently an aryl group with 6 to 40 in carbon numbers which may have a substituent, or a heteroaryl group with 5 to 40 in carbon numbers which may have a substituent, and Ar' is a divalent arylene group).
