The keyboard has a printed circuit board (20) for retaining electronic components (21), and a flexible cable (23) provided between the printed circuit board and a terminal (10) for a universal serial bus (USB)stick, cable or memory stick. The flexible cable is electrically connected with the circuit board at an end and with the terminal at another end such that the terminal is guided away from a keyboard housing independent of a position of the circuit board. A socket i.e. registered jack (RJ)socket, is fastened at the housing.
