PURPOSE: An apparatus for driving the motor of an electric vehicle is provided to efficiently managing energy while improving the stability of a circuit. CONSTITUTION: A motor driver(200) of an electric vehicle comprises a capacitor, an inverter(220), and DC / DC converter(210). The capacitor receives power from a battery(205). The inverter includes a plurality of switch elements and converts the DC power of a capacitor to AC power through switching to drive the motor. The DC/DC converter applies power from the battery to the capacitor and supplies the DC power of the capacitor to the battery. The DC/DC converter includes a switching element and an inductor.
