The device has a key whose automatic locking clamp (1) locks bolts and nuts. A pivot (2) is provided with a blocking and stopping device in a double rotation direction. An adjustable sleeve (3) is supported on a floor or against a wall. The automatic locking clamp is separated from the adjustable sleeve, and is replaced by an adjustable open-end spanner. An end of the adjustable sleeve is provided with a non-skid plastic end-piece to ensure gripping of the sleeve on the floor or against the wall to protect tiles of the floor.
