PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buffer device of an automobile allowing fixing of a buffer body to a back side of a trim material by one point, reduction of mounting work man-hour and the number of part items and simplification of a structure of a molding metallic mold of the buffer body. SOLUTION: A mounting leg part 14 recessed at a center part of an end wall 12 of the buffer body 10 is butted against the back side of a door trim 2 and is mounted in the trim material 2 at the one point of the mounting leg part 14, to reduce the mounting work man-hour and the number of parts. The mounting leg part 14 is recessed in a demolding direction of the rectangular cylinder shaped buffer body 10, and thereby a metallic mold structure is simplified without adopting a slide structure in the molding metallic mold and increasing sleeve pins.
