PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the assembling and disassembling of a chain with lugs for transferring ear tips. SOLUTION: This apparatus is obtained by installing a root chain driving shaft 24 for rotating and driving a root transferring chain 26 for nipping and transferring the root side and the ear tip side of reaped grain culms and an ear tip chain driving shaft 27 for rotating and driving a chain 32 with lugs for transferring the ear tips into a connecting tool 28, connecting both the shafts 24 and 27 and freely detachably installing an outer cover 39 on the outside of the connecting tool 28.
