<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering apparatus capable of relieving a fatigue feeling of driving steering for safe driving by correcting the drifting of a vehicle sensed by a driver according to the driver's intention. <P>SOLUTION: The electric power steering apparatus is structured to drive a motor based on a torque sensor for detecting a steering effort working on a steering wheel and a torque detected value output from the torque sensor and to apply a steering auxiliary force to a vehicle steering system. The electric power steering apparatus further includes a switch which enables a driver himself/herself to correct the torque detected value output from the torque sensor, and corrects a steering torque detected value from the torque sensor by a switch mounted on a driver seat according to a vehicle driving state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
