摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric conversion element that has small electric resistance between an electrode layer and a thermoelectric conversion layer. SOLUTION: One embodiment of the thermoelectric conversion element has a thermoelectric conversion layer 11 including a thermoelectric conversion material, electrode layers 12 including conductive particles 15 as a metal material, and adhesion layers 13 sandwiched between the thermoelectric conversion layer 11 and electrode layers 12. The contact layers 13 include the same thermoelectric conversion material as that of the thermoelectric conversion layer 11, conductive particles 15 made of the same metal material as that of the electrode layers 13, and pores 14 as gaps, wherein a part of the conductive particles 15 in the adhesion layers 13 are distributed over interfaces between the electrode layers 12 and adhesion layers 13, and the conductive particles 15 positioned on the interfaces are made of the same metal material and come into electric contact with the adjacent electrode layers 12 to be coupled.
