PURPOSE: Composite nano-particles and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to maximize contrast effect and reduce the toxicity to human body by combining biocompatible ligand with gadolinium oxide-manganese oxide composite particles. CONSTITUTION: Gadolinium oxide particle is prepared using gadolinium precursor. The gadolinium oxide particle is coated with a manganese oxide to obtain composite particle. Biocompatible ligand is combined with the composite particle in order to obtain composite nano-particles. The diameter of the composite nano-particles is between 0.5 and 3nm. The biocompatible ligand is one or more selected from a group including D-glucuronic acid, polyethylene glycol, and lactobionic acid. |
