PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print originals while a plurality of originals are integrated by being overlapped on one page of paper without lowering resolution more than required. SOLUTION: A user selects a pattern of 3-up overlap layout of the plurality of originals and inputs reduction rates of the plurality of originals. For a main figure, a reduction rate of 100% is set. On the basis of the setting, an image arranging section 106 acquires an arrangement setting values of a plurality of pieces of image data. The arrangement setting values are assigned to areas wherein the main figure becomes widest in comparison with the other images. An image reducing/enlarging section 107 performs reducing or enlarging processing of the plurality of pieces of image data stored in a data storing section 105 according to the arrangement setting values.
