PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetic rotary compressor and a refrigerating cycle device having a simple structure and still capable of securing stable oil supply without causing insufficient oil supply to a sliding part. SOLUTION: In the hermetic rotary compressor 1, an electric motor part 3 and a compression mechanism part 4 driven by the electric motor part 3 are stored in a bottom part 2A of a closed container 2, a refrigerant is sucked into the compression mechanism part 4 via the space inside the closed container 2, a volume type oil feeding pump device 100 is provided with the suction port immersed in a lubricating oil, an oil separator 15 is provided for separating the lubricating oil 99 in a refrigerant to be discharged, the lubricating oil 99 discharged from the volume type oil feeding pump device 100 is supplied to the oil separator 15, and the lubricating oil 99 in the oil separator 15 is supplied to the sliding part of the compression mechanism part 4.
