The invention concerns a method for transmission control in a mobile station comprising: starting first transmission control in an uplink dedicated channel when data transmission is started in a downlink shared channel; performing second transmission control in said uplink dedicated channel when said data transmission is finished. Preferably the first transmission control is to increase a target SIR of said uplink dedicated channel and said second transmission control is to decrease said target SIR, wherein said first transmission control is not to send identification of code that shows a primary base station to a base station by using said uplink dedicated channel and said second transmission control is to send said identification. Furthermore, a corresponding mobile station is described.
