PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing method reducing the range of dent formed in a recording medium. SOLUTION: The printing method includes: the printing step of performing printing process by conveying the recording medium (P) in a conveyance direction (F); and the holding step of holding the recording medium between a first roller (136) and a second roller (135) while conveying the recording medium in the conveyance direction, by bringing near the first roller moving in the conveyance direction and the second roller conveying the recording medium.
