PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deterioration of the brake feel in a fail-safe condition. SOLUTION: A brake control device generating fluid pressure in wheel cylinders by feeding brake fluid through fluid pressure circuit so as to provide wheels with braking force by use of the fluid pressure, includes: a master cylinder; a stroke simulator; a simulator cutting valve SCSS; and a first control section 210 and a second control section 220, both of which control the opening/closing of the simulator cutting valve SCSS. As for the first control section 210 and the second control section 220, the first control section 210 controls opening/closing of the simulator cutting valve SCSS in normal condition, and the second control section 220 continues the control of the opening/closing of the simulator cutting valve SCSS when the first control section 210 has a trouble.
