PURPOSE: A natural wick for a candle and the candle employing the same are provided to reduce black smoke and bad odor caused by incomplete combustion since the candle is quickly extinguished at a fast speed. CONSTITUTION: A natural wick for a candle includes a central strand consisting of 85~99 weight% of abaca tree and 1~15 weight% of Broussonetia Kazinoki or a central strand consisting of abaca tree as a main component. The central strand is obtained by making paper using raw materials including abaca tree and Broussonetia Kazinoki; and cutting the paper to plural minute strands and twisting minute strands. |
