<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the validity of rental is hardly recognized since it is selected to perform the rental or not by comparing a required period and cost to purchase a new device when performing the rental of the device. <P>SOLUTION: A total sum of charge in the case of using rental across a full use period and a total sum of charge in the case of purchasing used rental articles during the period so that it is possible to rationally select the purchase of a new article or the rental of a used article.
