PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet discharge device for achieving higher sheet material stacking performance by discharging sheet material while being curved at both ends thereof to increase the apparent stiffness of the sheet material, eliminating the risk of requiring a longer and wider installation space on a carrying passage and eliminating the risk of increasing the number of components and complicating a mechanism part. SOLUTION: The sheet discharge device includes a roller means for clamping sheet materials and feeding them toward a discharge tray, the roller means having a first roller part 12a for engaging with the sheet material at their centers in the cross direction and a pair of vertically movable second roller parts 12f for engaging with the sheet materials at both ends in the cross direction, and an operation control means for setting the first roller part 12a and the second roller parts 12f at the same height level and moving the second roller parts a required distance up or down at a required timing to curve the sheet materials.
