The tire has a tire belt (5) arranged between treads (4) and a carcass (1) and extended in axial direction (A). A diagonal belt ply (7) is formed in radial direction (R) of the tire and broadly formed than radial belt plies (10, 11). The diagonal belt ply comprises layer sections (9) that are back-folded laterally by continuous layer sections (8), where axially extending sections of the radial belt plies are arranged outside of the continuous layer sections and covered by the back-folded layer sections. The extending sections are formed in an extension region of the back-folded layer sections.
